Inland Empire
Ontario, California
Ontario sits in San Bernardino County, along the central corridor of the Inland Empire, within easy reach of surrounding communities in both San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Its location has long made it a connecting point for the region, and that in-between position still shapes how the city feels today: part established, part still growing.
Residential pockets range from older tree-lined streets near the city's historic core to newer stucco subdivisions on the outer edges, so the housing stock spans a wide range of ages and styles. Like much of the Inland Empire, Ontario enjoys a dry, warm climate and distant mountain views on clear days, and it remains a practical option for buyers comparing the broader region from the High Desert down to Corona.
